We are a non-profit organization dedicated to growing and enjoying roses in the Calgary area. The Society was formed in 1964 and has been online since 2001. If you enjoy growing roses, or are new to rose growing please consider joining our society. Guests are always welcome at our meetings.
What is new...
- The World Federation of Rose Societies has awarded its literary award to the Calgary Rose Society for the book "Growing Roses in Calgary". The award was presented to the Society at the April 2013 Meeting.
- Our book Growing Roses in Calgary can now be purchased online.
- Guest Speakers: The Calgary Rose Society would be happy to provide speakers for garden clubs or workshops on a variety of topics related to rose gardening. Please contact us by email to make arrangements.
- The Calgary Rose Society will stage the 41st Annual Rose Show on July 19th and 20th, 2013.
